Senior Year: it’s Time to Check Things Off the Bucket List.
Now is the time to get things done before it’s too late

Tik tok, tik tok, tik tok
As the saying goes, the days feel long, yet the years go by fast, and the sound of the clock is the sound of the seconds slipping by. Before we know it, the semester will end, the holidays will pass, and everyone will return to campus ready to start their spring semester. And if you're a senior, it'll be your last semester of college.
This thought is terrifying, and as a senior, I know how fast the last three years have gone. Each year – freshman, sophomore, and junior – feels like its own book, making up a collection in a series.
Reflecting on my first year at BU, I feel like I am an entirely different person. Thinking of the classes I have taken, the friends I have made, and my accomplishments, it's surreal to think of all that has happened in such a short amount of time; it feels like it's been years, but it also feels like it was just yesterday.
There is no bigger time warp than college.
If you are also a senior or even a junior, you know the ever-impending graduation deadline, a date looming over our heads that officially means this transformative chapter is over. Before that day comes, it's essential to start checking off things on your college bucket list — and we all have them.
We are all guilty of having a conversation with a friend, passionately bringing up an idea, saying we should do it … then it never happens. But now is the time to get serious.
Boston is full of amazing restaurants, unique neighborhoods, famous museums, and more. What have you already done, and what have you been dying to do? If you love sports, make sure you have seen the Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox play. If you are dedicated, drive out to Foxboro to see the Patriots. But don't forget about the BU sports teams you may have not seen. Have you been to a field hockey game? Have you gone to a softball game? Make sure you add it to the list.
Before you say goodbye to BU, college life, and all of your friends, start making your official list now. There are endless amounts of things to do in the city, so make sure you understand your priorities, write them down, and start checking them off.
Trust me. You will blink, and before you know it, the red and white confetti will be blown on Nickerson Field, and you will have received your diploma.
