Never Going Out of Style: Ralph Lauren’s 2025 Spring Collection
Step into Ralph Lauren's timeless Hamptons dreamscape with the Spring 2025 collection—a multigenerational, all-American celebration of elegance, nostalgia, and modern classics

The classic brand we all know and love has struck again. Ralph Lauren debuted their Spring 2025 collection in September. With winter just around the corner, sometimes a reminder of the newest Spring fashion is just what we need to look forward to.
Held in a 19-acre horse farm in Bridgehampton, Ralph Lauren pulled all the stops with vintage cars adorning the stables and horses jumping in a training ring. Some of the star-studded guests included Usher, Jude Law, Naomi Watts, Tom Hiddleston, Colman Domingo, and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.
This show has been compared most heavily to the 50th-anniversary show held in Central Park in 2018. It showcased a multigenerational cast, including Noami Campbell, Christy Turlington, and many young children who were gifted with their first chances at a real runway show. Since that show, the world and fashion industry has been rocked by a global pandemic and the economic consequences that followed. Ralph Lauren, one of the oldest pioneers in the fashion sphere, utilized the Spring 2025 collection as a beacon to remind us what American fashion truly is.
The Hamptons setting suits the collection beautifully, embracing the carefree beachy, yet elegant atmosphere etched within the collection. The backdrop, a horse grazing at sunset against white picket fences, was inspired by the designer’s history of visiting the Hamptons with family since the 70s and his evolving brand story.
It wouldn’t be a Ralph Lauren collection without the American flag and this collection was no different. The show featured an American flag sweater paired with crochet shorts, intersecting the academic with a carefree nature. Crochet found its way into many of Lauren’s pieces, from a deep plunge dress to an off-white set underneath a stark white trench coat. Using a variety of textures with a primarily cream, white, periwinkle, and navy color palette, this collection was the perfect lookbook for any East Coast, all-American occasion.
Ralph Lauren’s collection may be classic, yet it is anything but boring. By mixing Western belts with fringe pants and a suit jacket or creating a sheer and flowy women’s suit, Lauren added extravagance to classics. The collection as a whole showcases that even basics can be runway-ready.
In this show, Lauren continued the use of multigenerational casting from his 50th-anniversary show with kids modeling the Ralph Lauren Spring 2025 Kids collection. The children either held hands with an adult model or walked in duos, showcasing the familial values that uphold the all-American spirit Lauren has so carefully curated.
At the end of the show, Lauren emerges in the All-American USA Closing Ceremony jacket, his design from the 2024 Summer Olympics. The Spring 2025 show drew from themes used in previous collections including the Ralph Lauren Collection, Purple Label, and Polo Ralph Lauren for men, women, and children. Lauren remixed his signature genres—varsity prep, rugged western, Americana, and “Great Gatsby” glamor—to continue evolving the Ralph Lauren legacy for future generations.
